Full glass · Aluminum or wood interior

A classic conservatory silhouette, with glass or solid kick panels and optional transoms.

Georgian Conservatory

Three-sided glass pyramid roof

Formal, symmetrical lines with the same full-glass system, in aluminum or with a wood interior frame.

System 8 (Stick Built)

Oak or pine beams · Aluminum exterior

Laminated wood beams strong enough for large glass roof panels, with wooden casement windows.

Natural wood interior framing

Warm wood interior framing with the performance of a modern glass system.

Our story

Forty years, and the installer's son now runs it.

Hudson Valley Sunrooms has been a family business since 1984 — and the family grew into it.

1984
In the beginning
Christopher Smalley started Hudson Valley Sunrooms in Kingston, NY. Together with Bruce Coppola as head installer, they brought Four Seasons brand sunrooms to the Hudson Valley.
1995
Jason's beginning
During his high school years, Jason finished school from home and started working for his dad part-time.
2003
A welcome addition
After years of handling everything himself, Chris hired Colleen DePuy to help in the office. She would later stay on through the change of ownership.
2007
Divide & conquer
After 12 years working with his dad, Jason started his own company as a subcontractor for Hudson Valley Sunrooms — building and maintaining sunrooms.
2021
Big changes
Chris and Bruce finally reached the retirement they had talked about for years, and Jason took over Hudson Valley Sunrooms in March of 2021.
