Hudson Valley Sunrooms has been a family business since 1984 — and the family grew into it.
Christopher Smalley started Hudson Valley Sunrooms in Kingston, NY. Together with Bruce Coppola as head installer, they brought Four Seasons brand sunrooms to the Hudson Valley.
During his high school years, Jason finished school from home and started working for his dad part-time.
After years of handling everything himself, Chris hired Colleen DePuy to help in the office. She would later stay on through the change of ownership.
After 12 years working with his dad, Jason started his own company as a subcontractor for Hudson Valley Sunrooms — building and maintaining sunrooms.
Chris and Bruce finally reached the retirement they had talked about for years, and Jason took over Hudson Valley Sunrooms in March of 2021.
The HVS team keeps growing, helping homeowners across the Hudson Valley enhance their living spaces.
Design and planning through construction, upgrades and maintenance — including rooms somebody else built.
Footings to finishes. Decades of experience designing a room around how you actually want to use it.
Failed thermal panes, tired seals, aging roofs — including Four Seasons rooms built long before we got there.
Ongoing care that keeps a room comfortable in February and August, not just in the brochure.
Rated 4.9 by 78 homeowners. Three of them, in their own words.
★★★★★“I bought a house that had a 40 year old sunroom with thermal pane windows that were full of water. HV Sunroom came in and replaced the bad windows and re-sealed the remaining good ones. They made the whole room look brand new.”
Randall I.
★★★★★“I finally had professional and knowledgeable work done on the sunroom on my home, after years of problems. They sent a team of sunroom professionals to replace my sunroom roof and do what was needed.”
Ann C.
★★★★★“We love our sun room. It is our main dining room and gathering room. It was the greatest investment we ever did on the house. The building of it was done very organized and skillful.”
